We encourage walk-ins. When you arrive, our host will look after you! We can’t always guarantee you will get a spot, but we have three alternate levels you can enjoy while you wait for a spot on the Rooftop.

Q: Does the atmosphere at Slims vary throughout the week?
A: Early in the week, particularly on weekdays, the rooftop at Slims tends to be more subdued. However, as the week progresses, especially on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the atmosphere becomes livelier. Guests should come prepared for fun, great food, strong drinks, and good times during these peak times.
Terms & Conditions:
We have a number of T&Cs that apply to all bookings. These are to make things easier for you to book & for us to manage, to ensure everyone has the best possible experience. We do not bend or break these T&C’s for that reason.
A pre-authorisation or minimum spend applies to most bookings. If you do not want that then you can walk-in. We cannot advise if you will be ok to walk-in on a specific day as it depends on a lot of things however, outside of the busy Christmas & New Year period you will generally not have a problem finding a seat during the week. As the week builds up, so does the rooftop. If you are looking to bring a group on Fri & Sat then we suggest booking.
We have a strict cancellation policy which relates to the specific day & time of the week. That info is available during the booking process. If you are not 100% sure of your booking then please hold off booking until you are.
We adhere to the NSW law in regards to the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Please do not pre-load or tack a rooftop booking on to a lunch or dinner you have elsewhere & arrive intoxicated. Patrons that arrive intoxicated, in our absolute discretion, will be denied entry & no refunds will be provided whatsoever. With that in mind, rest assured that we are not the fun police, we want people to enjoy themselves in our venue, but we have to abide by the law.
Slims is a bar rather than a restaurant. When you arrive, you will notice the view & the vibe. On weekends we have DJ’s & we are set up for mingling & having a good time, rather than having a quiet meal.
Early in the week the rooftop is more subdued & perfect for a meal so that will not be an issue. As the week ramps up, so do we. eg. Friday, Saturday & Sundays are generally lively so come prepared to have fun & enjoy great food, strong beverage & good times.
Please note that Slims Rooftop is a +18 venue - no minors on the rooftop. We do not allow minors, bucks parties, mad-Mondays, d*ck-heads, dress-ups, pets, overt hens parties (ala penis straws & sashes), 18th to 21st birthdays. We’re all about fun but not at the expense of everyone else.
